Assessments have been done and the data recorded. I have met with teachers and groups are now formed in all grades. My Fourth grade group dug right into some multiplication practice. Here they are playing a game called, Tiles Capture, They each flip over a card and have to multiply the rows and how many in each row. The larger amount wins. They were not recording here because we had just learned the game but I added in a recording element where they write down both their's and their partner's equations and circle the winner. After ten rounds they see who has won the most. They can also play to have the winner be the one with the least amount.
