The Super Bowl was just last Sunday. The Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers in a great game to celebrate Super Bowl 50. Although it would have been better if the Seahawks were playing, we liked watching Peyton Manning win his 200th win knowing it is probably his last game in the NFL. To celebrate football, we played a game in Kindergarten that worked on number recognition, counting, and addition. In this game the students roll the dice, count the dots, and turn over the number that matches the quantity of dots.
After we turn over all of the matching numbers to their quantities, we put all of the numbers in order and practice counting forward and backward. Another favorite!
