In my fourth grade intervention group we were working on larger number addition and subtraction.  Here's Common Core Standard for fourth grade addition and subtraction expectation                          

Thanks to The Kentucky Numeracy Project I have found numerous (Ha!) activities to support and progress their learning and fluency with large numbers.  Here they are playing a game where they had to sequence the numbers and work together while figuring out where each number should go.  You can find a copy of this game here  There are also many more games that go along with this one.
